Hello! We are Otaku Souken, a media team based in Tokyo, Japan, passionate about all things “otaku”.

“Souken” means “research institute” or “lab” in Japanese, and we deliver industry news on Japanese anime, games, manga, and light novels (the so-called ACGN) culture.

We report on the real situation that can only be investigated locally, including major Japanese publishers, TV stations, and anime production companies, as well as the enthusiasm from overseas, mainly in Asia(APAC) and North America.
